THDC India Limited (THDCIL), a leading power sector PSU with ‘Mini Ratna’ Category-I status, invites applications for the post of Junior Officer Trainee (Guest House) in S-1 Grade on a regular basis.   • PwBD Reservation: 01 Post (HH)

Eligibility Criteria:

Only candidates having valid registration with any of the Employment Exchange in the respective state, i.e., Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand & Bihar as on the last date of online submission of application form are eligible to apply.

  • Employment Exchange Registration: Only candidates having valid registration with any of the Employment Exchange in the respective state (Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand & Bihar) as on the last date of online submission of application form are eligible to apply.
  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Catering Technology, or Hospitality and Hotel Administration with at least 60% marks from a recognized institute.
  • Upper Age Limit: 27 years as of the date of advertisement.

Selection Process:

The selection will be based on a Computer-Based Test (CBT) consisting of:

  • 30 MCQs on General Awareness
  • 30 MCQs on Reasoning
  • 140 MCQs on Hospitality Discipline
  • Duration: 180 minutes
  • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer

  • Online Registration Begins: 12.02.2025 (10:00 AM)
  • Online Registration Closes: 14.03.2025 (6:00 PM)

Candidates can apply online through the THDCIL website at www.thdc.co.in under the ‘Career’ section. Ensure you have valid registration with an Employment Exchange in specified states.

RELAXATION & CONCESSION

  • Reservation to OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/SC/ST/PwBDs (Degree of Disability 40% or above)/Ex-Servicemen/J&K Domiciled/Victims of riots candidates will be provided as per Government of India directives/guidelines wherever the vacancy is reserved.
  • Category (SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBDs/Ex-Servicemen/EWS) once filled in the online registration form will not be changed and no benefit of these categories will be admissible later on.
  • For Departmental Candidates (only THDCIL Regular Employees) relaxation/concession shall be as per THDCIL Direct Recruitment Procedure Manual.
  • For SC/ST/PwBDs candidates only 50% marks is required in essential qualification wherever the vacancy is reserved.
  • Relaxation/Concession to OBC(NCL)/SC/ST/PwBDs/Ex-Servicemen/J&K Domiciled/Victims of riots shall be as per Government of India directives wherever the vacancy is reserved.

Pay Scale and Benefits:

  • Basic Pay: ₹29,200 – ₹1,19,000 (IDA)
