Overview of EMRS Catering Assistant Post
- Name of Post: Catering Assistant
- Number of Posts: 1 per EMRS, totaling 740 vacancies.
- Classification: Group C
- Scale of Pay/Pay Level: Level-4 (Rs. 25500-81100/-)
- Age Limit: Direct recruits must be up to 35 years old, while EMRS employees* can be up to 55 years old, including all relaxation. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC and other categories as per Govt. of India Rules.
- Educational Qualifications: Candidates should have a 3-year degree course in catering or equivalent from an institution recognized by the Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India/State Govt. Alternatively, they can possess a trade proficiency certificate in catering with a minimum of 10 years of service in Defense Services of regular establishment (For ex-servicemen only).
- Period of Probation: 2 years
