  • Date of Exam: May 11, 2024 (Saturday)
  • Timings: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
  • Mode of Exam: Computer Based Test

  • Start Date of Online Applications: February 9, 2024
  • End Date of Online Applications: March 31, 2024 (up to 5:00 PM)
  • Last Date of Successful Fee Transaction: March 31, 2024 (11:50 PM)
  • Correction Period for Application Form (Online Only): April 2, 2024 to April 5, 2024
In order to appear in NCHM JEE-2024, the candidates are required to apply
‘online’.

Eligibility Criteria for NCHM JEE-2024

  • Firstly, a candidate must pass the 10+2 system of Senior Secondary Examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects from a recognized Educational Board.
  • Additionally, the candidate must pass English as a subject of study (core/elective/functional) in the qualifying examination.
  • Moreover, candidates appearing in the 10+2 or equivalent examination can also appear in NCHM JEE 2024 on a provisional basis.
  • However, provisional admission will be canceled if proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) is not submitted at the time of counseling or admission or latest by 30.09.2024.
  • Furthermore, the offer of admission is subject to verification of original certificates/documents, including category certificate and PwD certificate (wherever applicable) at the time of admission.
  • Lastly, if any candidate is found ineligible at a later date even after admission to an Institute, due to the inability to produce genuine certificates in original in support of passing 10+2 or equivalent examination and fulfilling age criteria and category certificate or PwD certificate (wherever applicable), his/her admission will be canceled.

Reservations: For Institutes operated by the Central Government, reservations will be applicable as outlined below:

(i) 15% of the seats reserved for Scheduled Castes (SC) candidates.

(ii) 7.5% of the seats reserved for (ST) candidates.

(iii) 27% of the seats reserved for Other Backward Classes (OBC) Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) Candidates as per the Central List*.

(iv) 10% of the seats reserved for General Economically Weaker Sections (General-EWS) candidates.

Scheme of Exam

Marking Scheme:

  • Firstly, each question awards 4 marks.
  • Additionally, correct responses receive 4 marks each.
  • However, incorrect responses incur a deduction of 1 mark from the total score.
  • Furthermore, unanswered or unattempted questions result in zero (0) marks.
  • Moreover, candidates must select one option as the correct answer to each question.
  • Subsequently, after challenging the Answer Key, if there are multiple correct options or a change in the key, only candidates who have selected the correct answer according to the revised Answer Key will be awarded marks.
  • In case none of the options is correct or if a question is found to be wrong, that question will be dropped.
  • Consequently, the number of questions in the paper will be reduced accordingly, and the paper will be graded based on the remaining correct questions.
  • Finally, the percentage equivalence will be established based on the remaining correct questions.
